It’s been a rollercoaster ride in the Premier League for Chelsea this season, having lost to title rivals Arsenal and Liverpool before thrashing Manchester United.
The Blues are one of four sides sat joint-top of the Premier League with 23 points and Antonio Conte seems to have ironed out Chelsea’s biggest problem at the best possible time, with the backline in West London revitalised.

Finally able to switch to his preferred back-three formation, Chelsea have won all of their last four games in the Premier League without conceding a single goal – and they’ve scored 11 in the process.
Chelsea’s recent four-game winning run marks the first time they’ve achieved such a feat since April 2015, when Jose Mourinho’s side were coming to the end of their title-winning campaign, but since then the defensive frailties have been clear for all to see.
Now, though, Conte has managed to imprint his famed formation onto his side and it puts the Blues in a good position heading into a crucial month in which Chelsea face Everton, Middlesbrough and Tottenham Hotspur.
