Chelsea’s bid for Premier League glory this season has been nothing short of sensational.
They’ve been absolutely superb in almost all of their games so far this term and could still do the quadruple, which would be some feat.
The addition of Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa in the summer appears to have been a work of genius from Blues boss Jose Mourinho.
Costa has netted 12 Premier League goals already this term, while Fabregas has racked up an impressive 11 assists in just 22 games.
But where have those goals and assists come from? Well, according to WhoScored.com’s latest graphic, Chelsea have netted eight goals from corners so far this term – more than any other side in the Premier League.
Whats more, Spain international Fabregas has been the provider for five of those goals from corners.
It’s no real surprise that Chelsea have been so dangerous from corners when you consider the aerial threat the likes of John Terry, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic and Diego Costa pose at set pieces.
And if Chelsea do go on to win the Premier League title, you might have to look back and consider whether this is the secret behind their success…
