After struggling in his second year at Chelsea, in what was an awful year for the Blues in the Premier League, Diego Costa rose to prominence once again at the back-end of last season and has continued that form into the current campaign.
With the Blues looking far better under Antonio Conte, Costa has excelled for Chelsea this season and the West London side are sitting comfortably at the summit of the Premier League- with last week’s defeat to Tottenham Hotspur their only defeat since the end of September.
Leading the scoring charts this season with 14 goals, one ahead of Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, Diego Costa has proved himself to be one of the best in the world and his past year has been remarkable.

With fourteen goals and five assists this season, added to the 12 goals he contributed in at the end of last campaign, no player in the Premier League has contributed to more goals than Costa since the start of 2016.
The Spaniard should improve his numbers further as the season progresses and with Costa in this form, Chelsea will surely lift the title in May.
