Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to slam Marcos Alonso, after the full-back put in a disastrous performance against Everton as the Blues lost by two goals to nil.
The Spanish international has been criticised heavily by fans already this season for his half-hearted showings, and it was no different at Goodison Park.
Think you’ve seen and heard everything on the Kepa controversy? Think again! Check out the brilliant new video by 442oons below…
Alonso was consistently caught out of position by the marauding runs of Seamus Coleman on the overlap, who linked up well with Richarlison to cause the former Bolton defender all sorts of bother.
The 28-year-old also gave away the penalty which led to Gylfi Sigurdsson doubling the Toffees’ lead, after foolishly bringing down Richarlison inside the box.
Chelsea fans are losing patience with the left-back, and are baffled that Maurizio Sarri continuously chooses the Spaniard ahead of Emerson, who has to be wondering how he’ll ever be able to dislodge Alonso from the team.
Let’s see what the Blues supporters on Twitter are saying about Alonso’s performance…

Alonso isn’t good enough to play for Chelsea. Squad player at best

We can say goodbye to top 4 now. Focus on winning the Europa league. We were dominating with possession and had a few chances but as Gary Neville said, there hasn’t been an urgency all game.
And Marcos Alonso, I have no words. And to Sarri, why pick Alonso? Why? Just WHY.

Marcos Alonso is having an absolute DREADFUL game. Literally trying to get a 2nd yellow.
Back to his usual ways.

Please, please please, send Marcos Alonso off. This game is lost, at least he'd be out of Cardiff.
