PSG and Real Madrid are amongst a whole host of clubs who are set to offer Ashley Cole a pre-contract agreement in January as the left back is yet to receive a new contract offer from Chelsea, according to the Sunday Mirror.
Cole is out of contract at the end of the season and would be free to speak to European clubs at the turn of the new year, where PSG are certain to approach the England international, with Madrid and Inter Milan also reportedly keen.
The Sunday Mirror also reported that players over the age of 30 would only be offered one year contracts by Roman Abramovic as a new generation of Chelsea is starting to come through.
Popular former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is the manager at PSG and he hopes to persuade the 31 year old to move to the French capital when they are able to open talks in January.
Cole is still a key player for club and country and so it would be surprising if the Blues allowed their number one left back to leave the club for free, but a move to another big European club may prove too much for Cole to turn down.
