FIVE deadline day transfers that Chelsea must avoid

For a while, it seemed that the special one may have lost his aura. Little had been done on the transfer market, and perhaps this was a sign clubs were going to try and make it difficult for Mourinho to make headway in his second stint in the Premier League with Chelsea.

The past few days however have shown us otherwise. 2 major signings, both strikers, have signalled his intent, firstly to get rid of the deadwood up front at Stamford Bridge, but also his desire to wrestle the title back to West London from up north.

With that in mind, I would not put is past Mourinho having a final delve deep in to the transfer market before it shuts in a few days time, however it may be a rushed deal which perhaps should be left alone.
