Following the unanticipated £28million deprature of Romelu Lukaku to Everton, Jose Mourinho has declared that no more first team strikers will leave Chelsea this summer.

That means, despite an atrocious return of 20 goals in 110 Premier League appearances for the Blues, £50million signing Fernando Torres will not be thrown on the transfer scrapheap as previously expected.

But we at Football FanCast fear that the Special One has made the wrong decision, and just to prove it, we've listed FIVE strikers, all reasonably priced and available to Chelsea this summer, who could do a better job for the west Londoners than the wayward Spaniard.

LOIC REMY

QPR striker Loic Remy finds himself in the ever-clichéd transfer limbo this summer after failing a medical at Liverpool:

But Harry Redknapp strongly denies problems with the France international's fitness and still available to Champions League clubs for a mere £8.5million through a release clause agreement, Remy has the potential to be a real coup for Chelsea.

Not least because, since arriving in England in January 2013, Remy has claimed 20 goals in 40 Premier League appearances - including 14 goals on loan to Newcastle last term, as shown in the video below:

And who can forget this wonder-strike for parent club QPR at the end of the 2012/13 campaign...

Capable of playing out wide and his talents underpinned by prolific pace, the 27 year-old offers the Blues versatility and diversity in attack.

As previously stated, he's available to the west Londoners for just £8.5million, but recent speculation suggests the Magpies are keen to pick up where Liverpool left off by offering Remy a permanent deal:

SALOMON KALOU

Salomon Kalou (ivory Coast):

After re-signing Chelsea legend Didier Drogba, would it be a step too far to also offer former Blues forward Salomon Kalou a Stamford Bridge homecoming this summer?

The Ivory Coast international found just 36 goals in 156 Premier League appearances during his first stay with the Blues, with this brand of atrocious finishing becoming common practice:

But since swapping west London for Lille in summer 2012, after helping Chelsea win the Champions League title, the 28 year-old has re-found his scoring touch, amassing an impressive 30 goals and ten assists in 66 Ligue 1 outings. Here's a look at his vitals from last term:

And his season highlights:

Kalou's experience and versatility cannot be understated, furthermore, he already enjoys cult status amongst the Stamford Bridge faithful and has worked under Jose Mourinho before.

Most appealingly however, it's alleged the Lille star could be available for as little as £3million this summer, and has stated his desires to return to England after stalling on a switch to Roma:

But with a host of Premier League clubs strongly linked to the 23-goal-65-cap Ivorian, there will be competition for his signature this summer:

JAVIER HERNANDEZ

HernandezMex

Disgruntled with his seemingly unshakable 'super-sub' status at Manchester United, Mexico international Javier Hernandez is widely expected to leave Old Trafford this summer.

There's no doubting Chicarito's quality however - he's perhaps the most natural goal-poacher in the English top flight, having found double-figures from the bench in three of his four Premier League campaigns.

Indeed, a return of 37 Premier League goals in just 48 starts for the Red Devils is incredibly impressive. Here's a look at his best goals for United:

Famed for his blend of pace, surprising aerial ability and illusiveness in the box, the 26 year-old would certainly offer Chelsea something different in attack. Furthermore, long-term suitors Atletico Madrid have pulled themselves out of the race to sign the 5 foot 9 striker:

It's believed Hernandez could be available for around £10million-£15million this summer, but Manchester United will be reluctant to sell to a divisional rival and potential buyers for the Mexico star are hardly in short supply:

KLAAS-JAN HUNTELAAR

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

With his contract entering its final year, Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has been strongly linked with a Premier League switch this summer:

Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal are all keen, but the Netherlands international would do a decent job for the Blues too. He's netted 91 goals in 139 appearances for the Miners and also boasts a healthy return of 35 goals in 65 outings for Oranje.

Admittedly, the 30 year-old doesn't offer much to open play, as shown through his uninspiring passing statistics from last season:

But there's no doubting the quality of Huntelaar's finishing - just take a look at his Top Ten career goals:

Schalke's valuation for the former Real Madrid and Ajax forward remains to be seen. But with his contract winding down and no new deal in sight, £10million-£15million would be a sensible estimate.

SEYDOU DOUMBIA

Seydou Doumbia

Chelsea have been linked with Seydou Doumbia before, and now that the CSKA Moscow star has entered the final months of his contract, the timing is right to make a formal bid.

The now retired Ivory Coast international comes with a prolific reputation, boasting a sensational return of 74 goals in 110 appearances for the Russian capital outfit, as well as 57 in 78 at former club BSC Young Boys.

Here's a look at all of the retired Ivory Coast international's strikes from last season - 20 across all competitions including two in the Champions League:

The 25 year-old would be a good fit for the Premier League. Despite measuring in at just 5 foot 10, he's famed for his stocky strength, clinical finishing and blistering pace.

Doumbia has been rated as highly as £30million in the past, but with his Moscow deal now in its final year, the Russian side can surely be convinced into selling for significantly cheaper.

But the Blues aren't the only Premier League side linked with the striker's signature - Tottenham and Arsenal are reportedly tracking his transfer situation too:
