Former Liverpool target used by Chelsea to land Cuadrado

Chelsea ace Mohamed Salah has completed a loan move to Fiorentina until the end of the season, according to reports from the Express.

After signing Juan Cuadrado for £23.3million, Salah moved in the opposite direction as part of the deal in luring the Colombian to Stamford Bridge.

The Egypt international only signed from Basel in January last year after being chased by Liverpool, but has failed to nail down a regular starting place, featuring in only three games for the Blues this season.

The 22-year-old has therefore agreed to join the Viola for the remainder of the campaign, with an option to make the deal permanent available to the Serie A side.

Prior to his move to Chelsea, Salah played 78 games for Basel during two seasons in the Swiss Super League, scoring 20 goals.

On the international stage however, Salah has been incredibly prolific for Egpyt, scoring 20 goals in just 35 matches.
