Robin van Persie has ruled out a return to the Premier League with Chelsea, as reported by Turkish-Football.com.
Van Persie was back to his best with his performance at the weekend, but he said: “There is a lot of talk about Chelsea and Barcelona but I have received no offers and I am dedicated to Fenerbache”.
Until recently, it was believed that the former Arsenal striker had fallen out with his boss in Turkey and was looking for a move away.
It now appears that things have been repaired with his manager, but it does mean the Dutch star won’t be on the move again soon.
Chelsea’s current crisis with their strikers may see Mourinho look to add a forward this January and it was believed that van Persie was one of the players the English Champions have been looking at.
Similarly, Barcelona have been hit with injuries of late, and it was thought that they would continue their long-running connection with Dutch football by adding the ex-United man.
