We are still eagerly waiting to see what kind of business will Frank Lampard look to do once the January transfer window opens.

Now that Chelsea are once again allowed to dip their toes into the market, seeing how their ban has been cut short, we can potentially expect the Blues to get back into the game and maybe get a couple of reinforcements in.

One such player could very well be Idrissa Gueye, the former Everton ace, who's currently playing for Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Le 10 Sport, the 30-year-old is on Chelsea's radar and Lampard could make his move in the not so distant future.

But upon seeing this update, many Chelsea fans were actually divided - for some, he would be a good signing and his potential partnership with N'Golo Kante in midfield would indeed be a scary thought...

But some other Blues supporters see him as Kante's replacement and not someone who would potentially slot next to him in midfield.

For that reason, one fan called him "Kante replacement" while another took this update as a sign that their own midfielder could very well be on hs way out sooner rather than later.

Of course, there were also some fans who seem to think Chelsea have enough midfielders as it is and should not go for a player of Gueye's mould.
