Chelsea travel to face Barcelona in the second leg of their Champions League last sixteen tie on Wednesday knowing that they have to score in order to progress after a 1-1 draw in the first installment.

An organised display from Antonio Conte's men in the match at Stamford Bridge was soured by Lionel Messi's away goal, as a result of an error by Andreas Christensen in the second half, which means that the emphasis has to be - at least to some extent - on attack for the Blues.

That brings the conversation about who should be fielded up front to the forefront of the discussion and the two main options appear to be Alvaro Morata - valued at £58.m by Transfermarkt - and Olivier Giroud (£18m on the same site).

Both have struggled for form early on in their Blues careers, to the extent that Conte started with Eden Hazard in the false nine position for Chelsea's last crunch match, away against Manchester City.

That means that their fans cannot choose who they would rather see start in the Nou Camp. Morata has the greater experience of Spanish football and is more mobile but Giroud is slightly sharper and is better at linking up the play.

We've taken a look at the best of the debate...
