Chelsea fans are raging on Twitter after reports the club has rejected bids of £35million from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid for Willian.

Sky Sports understand Barca had three bids declined for the Brazilian forward last summer, with the final one as high as £55m.

And now they have had another turned down despite an underwhelming contribution from the winger last season which saw him contribute just three goals and seven assists.

Chelsea are in a difficult position given they have entered into the first part of the two-year transfer ban handed out to them by FIFA, which means they could not sign anyone to replace Willian if he were to be sold.

In addition, Eden Hazard has just been sold to Real Madrid for £88m so selling Willian would blunt Chelsea's attacking options further.

Many Blues supporters have come out in their droves to criticise the club for not taking the money, although not everyone feels the same way.
