Antonio Conte's arrival in the Premier League can only mean good things.

A pure entertainer on the touchline and a masterful tactician, Conte is going to bring entertainment to a league that is now packed with superstar managers. The Italian, if you listen to the majority of fans, is likely to play 3-5-2.

It's hard to know exactly what formation he will opt for - considering that he has previously used plenty of other systems - but the 3-5-2, after Italy's success at the Euros, could well be the way that Conte goes. It was the blueprint for his masterful years as Juventus manager, too.

Signings are inevitable for Chelsea most summers and that is the case times a million this time around. Conte will be given a near blank cheque book you'd imagine and that could make Chelsea's XI for their first match of the season look rather fresh.

Here's how their midfield could look come the start of the season...

Cesar Azpilicueta

Azpilicueta

Chelsea's best defender could become a wing-back under Antonio Conte. One of the best one-on-one defenders in Europe, Azpilicueta could become a star under Conte.

A superb athlete, Azpilicueta would need to work on his attacking play if he could slot in to the 3-5-2 of Antonio Conte. Of all the Chelsea players, Azpilicueta must be one of the first players on the team sheet under Conte.

N'golo Kante

N'Golo Kante

Leicester's midfield maestro has continued to prove his brilliance with France at the Euros.

Topping all the ball-winning stats in the league, Kante is the sort of all-action player that Conte needs to play his high-intensity game. The Frenchman would take quite some prising away from Leicester but it is by no means impossible.

Cesc Fabregas

After his heroics during Chelsea's title winning campaign, Fabregas had a rather indifferent season last time around.

The Spanish playmaker will likely need a couple of more energetic players around him if he is to adapt to Antonio Conte's style of play, but it is almost guaranteed he will still be a pivotal figure in the team.

Axel Witsel

Witsel has proven his class with Belgium during the European Championships this summer and it is nigh-on guaranteed that it is the end of his spell with Zenit.

Capable of playing in a number of different midfield roles, Witsel's physical presence would be more than welcome in the Chelsea midfield. Whilst Matic or Mikel may envisage themselves in this sort of role, it's hard to see them being able to keep up with Conte's demands.

Ricardo Rodriguez

Manchester United v VfL Wolfsburg - UEFA Champions League Group Stage - Group B

Wolfsburg's star left-back is destined for a big move this summer.

The Swiss star is a gifted full-back and has all the attacking ability to slot in to a wing-back role in a 3-5-2. Having impressed at both the Euros and in the Bundesliga, Rodriguez, more so than Azpilicueta, is suited to the wing-back duties.

Baba Rahman, unless he has made significant improvements over the summer break, is unlikely to feature in Conte's first team considering his defensive lapses during last season.
