Antonio Rudiger is back in pre-season training alongside the rest of the Chelsea squad.

The Blues are officially done with their holidays and are now getting ready for the tour before the 2019/20 Premier League season kicks off in early August.

The Germany international is, however, working on a slightly different regime since he is still recovering from knee surgery he underwent in April.

Up until that point Rudiger was something of an ever-present in the back-four, starting 33 Premier League fixtures in total last season.

Recently he posted an

Since this is indeed a big breakthrough for him, his teammates and friends rushed to social media to wish him all the best and send their support his way.

Callum-Hudson Odoi and Tammy Abraham were among the first ones on the scene and they were in awe of Rudiger's progress on the pitch.

But they weren't the only ones as other players swarmed the German's Instagram profile with their replies.
