Despite Alvaro Morata getting on the scoresheet against Burnley last weekend, he has been far from firing on all cylinders at Chelsea for some time now. What’s more, Olivier Giroud is desperately struggling for goals too.

The Blues may well look to bring in a prolific new striker in January or at the end of the season. The arrival of a top class frontman would likely spell the end of Giroud and Morata, but on-loan Michy Batshuayi should also be fearing for his Stamford Bridge future.

The Belgian is currently on loan at Valencia, but his return of two goals from twelve games for the La Liga outfit will not be impressing his parent club. Despite a strong spell with Borussia Dortmund last season, the 25-year-old has plenty to do in order to convince Maurizio Sarri to hand him a chance to lead the line for Chelsea.

The Blues would likely, at this stage, be better off cutting their losses and cashing in on Batshuayi in order to part fund the signing of a new centre-forward.

What do you think, Chelsea fans - does Batshuayi have a future at the club?
