An unbeaten season does not tend to indicate that changes need to be made, but there is a shred of doubt surrounding Chelsea's striker options.

For the majority of the campaign under Maurizio Sarri, goals have been scored from midfield and wide areas due to the misfiring nature of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.

However, on Sunday it looked as though the Spaniard finally found his shooting boots as he scored twice in a 3-1 win over Crystal Palace.

In total, Morata has scored six goals in all competitions, three of which were netted in his last three outings.

The performance against Palace could be the catalyst that now sparks him into action.

The striker has shown glimpses of what he is capable of during his time at Chelsea, but would it be a risk for Sarri to rely on the Spaniard for the second half of the season?

Perhaps it would make sense for the Blues to recruit a new striker in January, but on the flip side it could scupper Morata's progress.
