In a season which has seen Chelsea slip below expectations following a Premier League title win the previous year - not for the first time - Marcos Alonso has been one of the few players who has kept his standards high.

Barcelona's Jordi Alba and Arsenal's Nacho Monreal are the two left-back options included, while Alonso's Chelsea team-mate - the only of the Stamford Bridge Spaniards to be included - can also offer cover in that role, despite spending the past two seasons at centre-half.

Yet, it is arguable that Monreal enjoyed a better season than his London rival so we're asking you; should Alonson have been included in Spain's squad for this summer's tournament?
