Chelsea showed impressive spirit in the second leg of their Champions League last sixteen tie against Barcelona but were undone by the genius of Lionel Messi.

In the Nou Camp, Antonio Conte preferred January signing Olivier Giroud to former Real Madrid man Alvaro Morata but, ultimately, the Blues were unable to make any impression on the Catalans' goal.

That European exit means that the FA Cup represents Chelsea's only chance of clinching silverware this season and places added importance on Sunday's trip to face Leicester in the quarter-finals.

The Foxes are, along with Burnley, one of only two genuine mid-table sides in the Premier League. Safe from relegation, they can afford to have a real go at a cup run and will be looking to exploit any tiredness or demoralisation in the Blues ranks after their midweek excursions.

Make no mistake, this is a really tricky tie for Chelsea and that's why it is imperative that Conte gets his choice of centre-forward correct.
