‘I can be the best for another 20 years,’ claims top Premier League manager

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is plotting another “15 or 20 years” as a manager at the highest level of the sport.

The 51 year-old began his second spell as manager of the Stamford Bridge club last season, and despite having already won a number of trophies around Europe with various clubs, he remains determined to succeed even in the latter years of his career.

“For me the situation is clear: I want to work, 15 or 20 more years. If, during this time, I do well enough to stay in a top level club, I will,” said Mourinho.

“If I don’t do well enough, and my market changes and I only have smaller clubs waiting for me, I will. Because I repeat, I want to work if I’m physically and mentally strong enough – which I expect to be – for another 15 to 20 years.”

Chelsea are still unbeaten this season in the Premier League and currently top the table with 26 points.
