Chelsea are open to selling Michy Batshuayi to Borussia Dortmund, but they want Christian Pulisic in the deal, according to the Daily Mail.
It became clear fairly quickly that Batshuayi was not going to feature regularly under manager Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian signed for the Blues from Marseille in the summer of 2016, but had to settle for a spot on the bench.
In January, Batshuayi was given a new lease of life at Dortmund when he signed for the Bundesliga outfit on loan for the rest of the season.
The 24-year-old has had a stellar start by scoring five goals in his first three games.
According to the Daily Mail, Dortmund are interested in signing Batshuayi permanently, and it appears that the Blues could demand Pulisic in any deal.
Pulisic is one of the most highly-rated youngsters in the game and has been linked with a number of clubs, including Liverpool.
The 19-year-old attack-minded player made his debut for Dortmund at just 17 years of age and has become a crucial member of the team.
Pulisic has started 18 league matches this season and has scored three goals and created three assists in Germany’s top flight.
With a number of clubs thought to be keeping an eye on the USA international, Chelsea would certainly be in a strong position in the race for his signature.
If Dortmund are determined to keep Batshuayi then they could be willing to negotiate, but Pulisic is not expected to come cheap.
