John Terry happy to be out of the Chelsea first-team

Speaking to French outlet SFR Sport, John Terry has revealed to former team-mate William Gallas that he is happy out of the Chelsea side as long as the club keep winning.

The Blues have been in incredible form in the last few weeks having won their last six and not conceded a goal, all without their captain in the side.

The former England defender has been missing thanks to a combination of an injury against Swansea and Antonio Conte’s key switch to a back three.

The Italian implemented that system during the defeat to Arsenal in the league and it has really come into its own, with David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta keeping Terry out of the team.

It’s the same case again against Tottenham tonight but the skipper is happy for it to continue so long as the wins keep coming.
