Lazio forward Senad Lulic has pledged his future to the club and played down rumours linking him with Chelsea.
The Blues will look to bring at least one new striker to Stamford Bridge in the summer and reports have suggested that Lulic is a target, while Juventus have also been linked.
The 27-year-old scored the only goal of the game in Lazio’s Coppa Italia triumph over arch-rivals Roma, but was quick to point out it was not a swansong and he is still a Lazio player.
“All I can say at this moment is that everything that is being written is pure speculation,” Lulic told Dnevni Avaz. “But, of course, we will see what will happen in the summer.
“What counts the most in this moment is the fact that my contract with Lazio runs for another four years. So, for now, I’m focused on doing the best for my national team and then we will see what happens after the holidays.” (ESPN)
Chelsea have already missed out on the signing of Radamel Falcao and there have been suggestions they could now turn their attentions to Napoli’s Edinson Cavani.
