Juan Mata believes that Chelsea can bounce back from their Club World Cup disappointment and challenge for four trophies this season.
Although they have been struggling for form of late, Mata feels that the Stamford Bridge outfit can still compete for silverware:
“I hope we can enjoy good moments and lift more trophies for the club and for you very soon.
“We’re still playing to win four trophies and we will give everything we have to success in each of them.” he wrote in his blog for Grada 360.
The Spaniard went on to describe the disappointment being felt by the squad after their 1-0 defeat to Corinthians:
“Indeed, our way back home will feel much longer to us than the outbound journey, but I look forward to land in London and to play the next match.
“The world of sport is full of good and bad moments, but you always have to look ahead and keep setting new goals.
“And in football, the goal is always to win the next match.”
