Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has started the Premier League season well by scoring four goals in five games.
The Serbian international moved to Craven Cottage on a permanent basis from Newcastle United last summer after impressing on loan.
Mitrovic dropped down the rankings at St James’ Park under manager Rafael Benitez, but has certainly found his stride at Fulham.
It seems that he has caught the attention of Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri, who according to The Mirror, believes that Mitrovic could add another dimension to the Blues’ attacking.
The West London outfit have also started the season well as they have picked up five wins from five Premier League matches, which has pushed them to the top of the standings.
Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have been the main options up front for Sarri, and news of the club’s alleged interest in Mitrovic has got some fans talking on Twitter.

This is good. He’s a fighter. There is a Costa and a Drogba in him. Chelsea can even throw Alvaro on the bargain.

You guys are clueless, Mitrovic has an attitude of Costa and has a very convincing goal scoring record. This guy could be one of the best strikers in the market, he’d suit us perfectly!

I dont mind him.. clinical finisher and can terrorise defense like how Costa did

Attention turns to Mitrovic cos the Spanish Benteke wouldn’t get back his confidence on the pitch to spearhead his side’s goal scoring rush.. 😅
