Mourinho wants Madrid ace at Chelsea

Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo

If Jose Mourinho became the next Chelsea manager he would look to bring Cristiano Ronaldo with him to Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Mail.

Ronaldo scored and was later sent off in Real’s Copa Del Rey final defeat to city rivals Atletico Madrid that sees the infamous capital club finish the season without a trophy.

Mourinho was also sent to the stands during the game and the Portuguese boss may have stood on the Bernabeu touchline for the final time.

Chelsea are desperate to secure a deal to bring Mourinho back to West London to follow Rafa Benitez after a good season at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester United want Ronaldo back at Old Trafford this summer but Chelsea are set to outbid their rivals that could prevent the winger opening discussions with the Red Devils.

Mourinho could have more than £100million to spend this summer to get Chelsea back in the Premier League title race.
