The duo recently arrived at Stamford Bridge from Russian giants Anzhi Makhachkala, who were forced into selling a number of star players due to financial concerns.
Having arrived as the transfer window drew to a close, the pair are yet to make their debuts for the Blues and expectation among fans is high.
But despite Willian and Eto’o both being regarded as world class talents, Terry believes that they may need a little patience as they adjust to English football.
“You speak to them and they talk about how the intensity of their training is a lot different to how it is here so for sure it will take them a few weeks to get their full fitness,” he told the club’s official website.
“But once they do they’ll both look very good.”
At 32-years-of-age, some have speculated that former Barcelona and Inter Milan forward Eto’o may have passed his best.
However, Terry is thrilled to have him at the club and believes that he will be a huge asset to the team.
“I said to him (Eto’o), ‘Thank God you’re here’, because I’ve had so many battles against him,” he added.
“He’s such a threat, he’s obviously a few years older but he still looks very sharp and hungry.
“He’s got an eye for goal and I think he’ll be a good addition. He was welcomed straight into the squad.”
