Chelsea’s Victor Moses insists they will not be distracted by the FA Cup ahead of their Europa League quarter-final with Rubin Kazan.
The Blues head to Moscow on Thursday defending a 3-1 lead and have a great chance of reaching the semi-finals.
But with a Wembley date with Manchester City lying in wait on Sunday, some have suggested Rafa Benitez’s side may start to look beyond their clash in Russia.
That is something disputed by Moses, who insists the squad will not think about Wembley until after the final whistle at the Luzhniki Stadium.
“We’ll focus on the game,” said the former Wigan striker. “It’s the Europa League, it’s a massive game for us. We just want to put the City game behind us at the moment. That doesn’t come until Sunday.
“Rubin Kazan are a great team, so we’re here to do our best. We’re very focused. It’s not going to be an easy test for us, but we’re looking forward to it.
“If we can score an early goal that would be great for us. Hopefully we’ll do our best to try to win the game and get into the semi-final.”
