As Chelsea continue to pursue Frank Lampard as Maurizio Sarri’s potential successor, there is a lot of uncertainty around the Blues next season.

An impending transfer ban means that a replacement for Hazard must be found from within the club, but severe injuries to Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will deprive Chelsea of two of their most talented young players.

Circumstances are hardly conducive to a successful campaign, and whoever is appointed to replace Sarri will have an unenviable task to say the least.

Carefree Lewis believes that Chelsea may well struggle next season, but after that they will be back to their best.
