Chelsea target Eliaquim Mangala has distance himself from a summer move, insisting that he is fully committed to Porto.
The Blues have been heavily linked with the French youngster in recent months, after being alerted by a succession of impressive displays in the Portuguese top flight.
New Stamford Bridge chief Jose Mourinho is said to have made the defender one of his top targets, as he goes about building a squad that can compete for honours in both the short and long terms.
Mangala was a key member of Porto’s title winning squad – their third in a row – but speculation surrounding his future has been rife.
Despite a number of top European clubs said to be monitoring his situation, the 22-year-old insists that his focus is on helping his current employers, and not rumours surrounding his future:
“I not am preoccupied about my future,” he is quoted by Sky Sports.
“There have been many rumours in the papers in the last few days, but I am very calm.
“My objective is to work each day and to progress in my club. I am only thinking about to follow up for Porto the next season.”
Mangala only moved to Porto last year from Standard Liege, but his impact at the Estadio do Dragao has been instant.
The Portuguese giants paid just over £5m for his signature, and could be willing to sell him on for around £20m-£25m.
However, they are not desperate to do business, having allowed both Joao Moutinho and James Rodriguez to join Monaco for a combined £70m.
