PSG boss hints at Hazard move

PSG boss Laurent Blanc has hinted that the club will bid for Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard, reports the Irish Independent.

The Belgian youngster has been Chelsea’s star player this season, scoring 14 goals and assisting a further 7 for his teammates in the Premier League. His fantastic performances seem to have caught the attention of PSG.

And Laurent Blanc had plenty of compliments to give when asked about Hazard ahead of PSG’s Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Chelsea: “We know Eden Hazard very well in France,” said Blanc. “I played against him as a coach, and he was always very impressive, one on one, and how fast on his feet. He’s scored goals at Chelsea in England and has the freedom to go everywhere when Chelsea are in a difficult moment. He’s still young and has a very bright future.”

Asked if he wants to sign Hazard, Blanc added: “Let’s play the two games against Chelsea.”

After being asked about PSG’s apparent interest in Oscar and Hazard, Mourinho claimed the Blues wouldn’t be able to ignore an offer, if it was for £300millions. Whilst the Ligue 1 champions aren’t expected to bid anywhere near that much, Blanc has suggested that they may try and sign the midfielder this summer.
