Chelsea interim boss Rafa Benitez wants to stay in England after admitting that the search for his next job is already underway.
Benitez revealed some time ago that he would not be staying on at Chelsea beyond the end of the season but he has still guided the club to the Europa League final.
Not only that but Chelsea are in great shape to qualify for the Champions League, and Benitez has done it all while his agent tries to find him a new club for next season.
Benitez will not be short of offers but a decision will only be made in the close season when he has explored all possibilities. Everton are on the look-out for a new boss to replace David Moyes, and Benitez says ideally he would prefer to stay in the Premier League.
“It is started already, the agents are working,” he said. “My job is to concentrate on the games, my agent is talking around. The Premier League is a fantastic league, my family still live in England so it would be easier but if not I will go abroad.
“I have no problem with Spanish, Italian, French (leagues). I was on holiday for nearly two years (before Chelsea). I want another job. The priority is still England but if you cannot find a club maybe you have to go abroad.”
