Real Madrid join race for Chelsea duo

Chelsea may be set for a battle to keep Oscar and Eden Hazard this summer, with Real Madrid having joined Paris Saint-Germain in the battle for the pair, according to reports from The Metro.

The Brazilian and Belgian attacking midfielders have been two of the Blues’ top performers this season, with their displays having kept the club in contention for the Champions League and Premier League.

It recently emerged that PSG are watching both players ahead of the off-season, and it’s now thought that Real are also keen.

The Spanish giants – who were coached by Jose Mourinho prior to his return to Stamford Bridge – are understood to have been impressed by both players and are considering big offers this summer.

Although key men in west London, Real are hopeful that the club’s desire to land a high-priced striker may lead to them selling at least one big name star.

PSG have already been linked with a £50m move for Hazard, while Oscar is said to be valued at around £10m less – but still double the amount Chelsea paid for his signature.
