Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane has lavished Chelsea forward Eden Hazard with praise amid reports linking him with a move to Spain, according to the Daily Mail.
The Belgian, who won the Player of the Year award last season, has struggled to replicate any of his form this time out – having failed to score in the league thus far.
There have been suggestions of a fallout between the 24-year old and Jose Mourinho, as the Blues sit in 16th position after a terrible start to the season.
Zidane, now in charge of Los Blancos’ B side, has revealed how much he admires the former Lille playmaker – adding fuel to the fire about a potential mega money move next year.
‘After Messi and Ronaldo, Hazard is my favourite player’, stated the World Cup winner.
‘I love watching him because he is a player who creates things and it is often spectacular to see him play.’
Though the Madrid club are well stocked in attacking areas, their recruitment policy is to sign a top class player every summer in order to feed the marketing machine.
Hazard joined the Blues in 2012 for around £32m from French side Lille.
