Revealed: 47% of Chelsea fans think Conte should have been sacked in February

It’s been a difficult 2018 so far for Chelsea, and an even more difficult last few months.

Indeed, the Blues have actually lost more games, seven, than they’ve won, six, this calendar year and since the end of February have been eliminated from the Champions League while losing to three key Premier League rivals in Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham.

With that in mind, we recently asked Chelsea fans whether the club should have sacked Conte around the time of their Champions League meetings with Barcelona, back when the prospect of a mid-season departure was widely discussed.

And although our poll has revealed that the slimmest of majorities believe that would have been mistake, 47% of the Chelsea supporters who took part think the club should have parted with the Italian back in February.

It now seems incredibly unlikely Conte will be in charge next season, especially if Chelsea fail to win the FA Cup. So, Blues supporters, who would you like to see in the dugout for 2018/19? Let us know by commenting below…
