Chelsea fans are keen on bringing England goalkeeper Jack Butland to Stamford Bridge this summer after being linked with a move for him last week.
The Daily Mail reported that the Blues were considering a move for the Stoke City shot-stopper in an effort to replace the potentially departing Thibaut Courtois, who is a subject of interest for Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Butland is in contention to be England’s number one during this summer’s World Cup, competing with Jordan Pickford for the honour in Russia.
His Stoke side may have been relegated last season, but the goalkeeper played a crucial role throughout the 2017/18 season for the Potters, who would have likely conceded many more goals had he not been between the sticks.
Chelsea supporters appear eager to get a deal done for him, with 63% of respondents to a poll we published last week believing that the Blues should make their move this summer.
