Barcelona may have won La Liga last season but they are wasting no time after the World Cup in attempting to strengthen their squad, reportedly hunting Willian for £60m.

It remains to be seen what new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri will do with the squad he is inheriting at Stamford Bridge, although it would be a surprise if he didn't go for a more attacking approach.

Nevertheless, Willian has proved himself incapable of nailing down a starting spot for the Blues on a regular basis and Barcelona's intense interest in someone who is something of a squad player is somewhat surprising.
