Revealed: 75% of Chelsea fans want Sarri to be their next manager

The Antonio Conte era at Chelsea is still running, just about, and the delay in resolving the managerial situation at Stamford Bridge is all the more perplexing when you consider how sharply two of the club’s London rivals, West Ham and Arsenal, have acted to get new bosses in this summer.

That swiftness of action is imperative this summer in a market where many top teams will again be spending to try to catch Manchester City, in a World Cup year where business is harder to do and with the transfer window closing sooner than ever before.

That’s why it’s important that Chelsea get their act together; it seems like Conte’s time is surely up so the delay is eating into valuable recruitment time or the Blues are signing players for their manager without his say-so, which is generally a recipe for disaster.
