Manchester United winger Anthony Martial was once again restricted to a cameo appearance during his side's 1-0 FA Cup final defeat to Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday, and it was something that didn't go unnoticed by Blues supporters on Twitter who urged their club to sign the attacker, valued at £70m according to The Sun.

The France international was something of a regular in the starting XI in the first-half of the 2017/18 campaign, but the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal during the January transfer window as often meant that he has started matches from the substitutes' bench.

The 22-year-old was given 17 minutes to make a difference in the capital at the weekend, and while he wasn't able to do that in terms of goals or assists, he still showed plenty of glimpses of the ability he clearly has in his locker when he isn't as low on confidence as he clearly is right now.

Meanwhile, the west London outfit could be set to make big changes to their playing personnel this summer having missed out on Champions League qualification, and wide players like Pedro and Willian could easily be shown the door if upgrades for them can be brought to Stamford Bridge.

We asked Chelsea fans to vote on our poll to see whether they would like to see Martial, who supporters would love to be part of a £170m overhaul of the club's attack to join Eden Hazard in a front three next season, sign this summer, and a whopping 88% said they would.

While it seems clear that the Blues would be interested, convincing a direct Premier League rival and their former manager to sell the forward to them may be more of a difficult task.
