Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford impressed and scored a brilliant goal as he started for England in their 2-0 win against Costa Rica last week, and his performance didn't go unnoticed by Chelsea fans on Twitter who urged their club to sign the Red Devil, rated at £58.5m by Transfermarkt.

The 20-year-old had a rollercoaster 2017/18 season under Jose Mourinho having started well and get on the score-sheet a number of times, but the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January changed that as he found himself behind both the Chilean and first-choice centre-forward Romelu Lukaku in the pecking order.

The Three Lions forward was also slyly criticised in public by Mourinho when the big Belgian was absent through injury earlier this year, and he was kept in Blues captain Gary Cahill's pocket when he did get the nod as the striker in his team's 1-0 FA Cup final defeat last month.

Meanwhile, the west London outfit, who can sign their perfect Willian replacement by beating West Ham United to £45m attacker with 44 goals and assists in 17/18, may well look to complete a major overhaul of their squad following their miserable title defence, and that could include finding an upgrade on Alvaro Morata after a tough debut campaign at the Bridge following his move from Real Madrid last summer.

We asked Chelsea fans to vote on our poll to see whether they would want the west London outfit to sign the 20-year-old, and a majority 66% said they would.

Whether the Blues will be willing to splash out on Rashford, and whether they can convince United to sell the highly-rated attacker to them, remains to be seen.
