According to reports in The Sun, Arsenal are ready to sell midfielder Aaron Ramsey this summer unless he signs a new contract before the start of next season, and we suggested that Chelsea should look to take the £110,000-a-week star to Stamford Bridge.

Despite their 1-0 FA Cup final win against Manchester United at Wembley on Saturday, it has still be a hugely disappointing campaign for the Blues and Antonio Conte, who could still yet pay the price for fifth-place finish in the Premier League which means they missed out on Champions League qualification.

Whether Conte is in charge or someone else is, the west London outfit will be looking to make big changes to their squad, and that could include finding a new midfield partner for N'Golo Kante considering the likes of Danny Drinkwater, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Cesc Fabregas and Ross Barkley have all struggled for form this term.

Ramsey would likely be a long-term replacement for Fabregas if he did make the move across the capital, and we asked Chelsea fans to vote on our poll to see whether they would back a deal or not, with a majority 62% saying they wouldn’t.

That may well be because they feel that they already have a successor to the Spaniard in Barkley, and don't need another unless they are a huge step up - something they obviously don't feel Ramsey is.
