Edinson Cavani scored a crucial second half goal to make it 1-1 in Chelsea’s game with Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes. The Uruguayan was able to get himself in between the usually reliable partnership of John Terry and Gary Cahill and calmly head home from close range:

The game has really opened up following the second goal and both managers will be wary not to go into the second leg trailing.
Branislav Ivanovic put Chelsea in front before half time with another goal. The Serb did well to place his header beyond the Paris Saint-Germain keeper, Sirigu, and his side into pole position.
But Cavani’s leveller leaves it, as it stands, poised ahead of the return game at Stamford Bridge, in which Jose will be keen for a repeat of last season – his side beat the Parisians at the Bridge.
