This time it’s Chelsea’s turn to produce a terrible away kit. The Blues wore this strip from 1994-96. Even legends like Ruud Gullit had to try and perform in this travesty.
The top is a bit of a mess. Patches of grey are separated by orange lines. There’s light and dark grey stripes at the chest with patches of orange on the sleeves. The collar is a mixture of blue, white and orange, with an orange area to show of the zip.
The Chelsea badge has even been done over with a dash of orange. As to has the Umbro emblem.
It’s hard to think how this kit can get any worse, but it does.
To accompany the patchy top is a pair of orange shorts and socks. The shorts even have a grey stripe down each side just to top the whole kit off.
It’s fair to say that Umbro and Chelsea have produced better.
