SIX World Cup Stars to follow Cesc Fabregas to Chelsea

Hours before the World Cup finally kicked off, Chelsea announced the shock £30million signing of former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas. With the impending arrival of Ivan Rakitic at the Nou Camp, Barcelona felt the time was right to allow the Spaniard to depart, only three years in to his five-year deal.

Fabregas spoke of having “unfinished business” in the Premier League, while confirming that Arsenal decided against activating their first option clause. Many football fans took to Twitter to express their disbelief, with many Gunners’ supporters dismayed by the revelation that Arsene Wenger chose not to bring the Spaniard back to the Emirates.

After Frank Lampard recently confirmed his exit from Stamford Bridge, Jose Mourinho has acted quickly to bring in a midfield replacement. There is also a feeling that the capture of Fabregas will be the first of many for Chelsea this summer.

Bearing this in mind, here are SIX World Cup stars that could follow the Spaniard to Stamford Bridge.
