Yesterday evening Chelsea booked their place in the Europa League final in Amsterdam later this month, as the Blues beat FC Basel 3-1 at Stamford Bridge to secure a 5-2 victory on aggregate.
The current Champions League holders will face Portuguese giants Benfica in the final in an attempt to secure back-to-back European trophies and yet another piece of silverware for Rafa Benitez.
When Chelsea travel to The Netherlands on Wednesday 15th May they will be greeted with a special football shirt that puts kits of today to shame.
Hankook Tire has made a football shirt to commemorate their sponsorship of the Europa League and they’ll be taking it to Chelsea and Benfica supporters’ pubs to show it off during the game.
Hankook Tire, who sponsor Budesliga club and Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund, have developed a jersey that will help “be one with it”, and fans will be able to watch the match in complete with Performance Jerseys, and be one with the action.
The shirt has LED lights, vibrations and pressure pads that react to the live game, so it will shine, vibrate and even inflate in reaction to the real-time match results.
The inflating shoulder pads that bring the pressure based on the on-field situation, but Chelsea fans will be hoping that the match isn’t too nerve-wracking for them.
