The Bernabeu giants splashed out £65million on the Colombian international after he left the 2014 World Cup as the competition’s top scorer with six goals.
But the attacking midfielder has struggled to impact as expected in the Spanish capital and found himself a peripheral figure in the first-team squad last season following an injury spell.
Rumours of Real Madrid cashing in on the 25-year-old have been rife throughout 2016 and Marca reported earlier this week that Zinedine Zidane’s side are ready to move him on.
The Spanish publication cited interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United and London Evening Standard follow a similar stance.
They claim renowned super agent Jorge Mendes has informed the Gunners and the Blues that Rodriguez is available for transfer at a cost of £65million.
Whether either club – or United – are prepared to meet that valuation, however, still remains to be seen.
