Chelsea are considering a summer swoop for AC Milan attacker Suso, according to Calciomercato.

What's the word?

The Spaniard is already familiar to Premier League audiences given that he spent five years at Liverpool, working his way through the academy.

Once it became clear that first-team opportunities would be limited, Suso moved on to Milan in 2015.

The 24-year-old has had much more joy at the Serie A outfit as he has made 97 appearances, scored 15 goals and created 27 assists in all competitions so far.

The attacker's form has seemingly attracted the interest of Chelsea, who according to Calciomercato are considering a summer swoop when the season comes to an end.

Is a deal likely?

The Blues will more than likely try to use the relationship that they already have with Milan to try to secure a deal.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is currently on loan from Chelsea at the San Siro, so perhaps an arrangement could be reached involving the midfielder.

Suso's stock has certainly risen since joining Milan as Transfermarkt have him valued at £31.5m.

The problem, though, is that the former Liverpool star will want regular game time at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea already have Willian and Pedro, therefore it is likely that Suso would have to wait for his chance.
