Chelsea got back to winning ways in the Premier League at the weekend, picking up a wonderful 3-0 win away to last season’s champions Leicester City.
It was particularly impressive given the tough week the Blues had prior to the trip to the Foxes.
Diego Costa, involved in a training ground bust up with club staff, was sensationally dropped by Antonio Conte and didn’t feature at the King Power Stadium. Chelsea looked as good as ever without their star man, led through the headline-hitting crisis expertly by Conte.
The manager has had a sensational start as this stat from Opta demonstrates. No manager has won more points that the Chelsea boss at this stage in their opening Premier League games.

In a twist of irony, the only other manager to achieve the same points total is Jose Mourinho, the man who dramatically left Stamford Bridge last season.
Chelsea fans will rightly by expecting an era of success under the Italian manager and the fact he is emulating the legendary Portuguese manager will only heighten those expectations.
Conte has a chance to add to his points tally when Chelsea host Hull City in this weekend’s Premier League action.
