The Diego Costa transfer saga rolls on.
Speculation and discussion regarding the future of Diego Costa has run rampant over the last few months; and it doesn’t look like it will be slowly down any time soon.
After weeks of will he/won’t he debates in the British press, over the last few days there has been some definitive progress as reporters and fans alike try to discover what the future holds Diego Costa.
First there was the peculiar instagram post, seen below, which led many fans to infer that Costa might be thanking and saying goodbye to his Chelsea team mates.

And then after Chelsea’s 3-2 defeat to Real Madrid, Antonio Conte refused to confirm that Diego Costa would still be a Chelsea player when the season starts in two weeks time.
And now, a report in the Spanish press has reportedly uncovered a video clip that shows Sergio Ramos and Diego Costa having a conversation, in which lip readers have ascertained that they are discussing Costa’s Chelsea future.
The video, seen below, reportedly shows Ramos and Costa having a conversation in Spanish, with Ramos asking Costa “Why don’t you go…they don’t let you?”. It would appear that this is in reference to Chelsea refusing to allow Costa to return to his previous club, Atletico Madrid.
