Chelsea currently find themselves amid an incredible eleven-game winning run following a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

But to ensure a fifth Premier League title comes the way of the Blues this May, Antonio Conte must make significant strides in the transfer market next month.

The Italian has masterminded Chelsea's rival following a formation switch from 4-2-3-1 to 3-4-3 in September. But where can Conte further improve matters?

Successful teams are often at their most vulnerable during a good run of form, as the cracks are regularly painted over by impressive results.

So in the long term, Conte must ensure his squad is well positioned for when the 3-4-3 formula stops being so effective - not to mention the west Londoners' likely return to the Champions League next season.

With all this taken into consideration, here are THREE players Chelsea should sell and THREE players they should buy when the transfer window opens in January.

Considering the injuries John Terry has suffered this season, Antonio Conte should be preparing for life after the former England captain.

With just six months left on his current deal, Chelsea should try to recoup a small fee for Terry instead of losing their inspirational leader for nothing in the summer.

Conte must replace the club's captain with another leader to fill his almighty void in the dressing room.

In October, The Telegraph reported that Roman Abramovich was ready to finance a world-record bid for Italian international Leonardo Bonucci.

The Juventus defender would be the ideal replacement for Terry and is already familiar with Antonio Conte and his defensive system from their time at Juventus together.

Bonucci could take Chelsea to an even higher level and would make them a real force in Europe, should they return to the Champions League next term.

OUT - Michy Batshuayi (loan)

In the long-run, Chelsea have a ready-made striker capable of filling Diego Costa's boots.

Nonetheless, Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi desperately needs game time to continue his development, and a six-month loan move in January could see the Belgium international progress much quicker than sitting on the bench at Stamford Bridge.

West Ham are keen on loaning Batshuayi in January according to The Sun.

IN - Dani Carvajal

Form is temporary; class is permanent - does the old adage apply to Victor Moses? The Nigerian winger has been sensational for Chelsea this season but how long can he continue as the Blues' resident right wing-back?

Chelsea should look to improve their flank and and Dani Carvajal is ideally suited that role.

The Real Madrid right-back would be a sensational coup for Antonio Conte, capable of attacking and defending in equal measure.

IN - Marco Verratti

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea want Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti to join them in January.

The Italian midfielder is one of the best in the business and has been a key part of a PSG side who've claimed four consecutive Ligue 1 titles.

Verratti would add real creativity to Chelsea's midfield alongside N'Golo Kante, but also has the aggression and dynamism to perform well in a flat midfield two.

OUT - Oscar

Oscar

Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG have made an astonishing £60million bid for Brazilian midfielder Oscar.

The 25-year-old looks set to end his four-and-a-half-year stay at Stamford Bridge and become one of the highest paid players in world football.

Oscar has failed to hit the heights expected following his move in 2012 and Chelsea would be foolish to reject that amount of money for a player who has made just five Premier League starts this season.
