2-0 is no 6-0, but this was by no means a close game either. Arsenal never looked like winning and the control on display by Chelsea was impressive. We may not have reached Holloween yet, but there’s no doubting the strength of this Chelsea side.
Here are THREE reasons Chelsea have one hand on the title:
It was only a matter of time.
All the talk surrounding Chelsea has been of the Fabregas and Costa combo while the Belgian went quietly about his business. However, Chelsea’s player of the season always looked threatening and appears to be back to his best.
Courtois’ replacement off the bench, Petr Cech, signalled the strength of this Chelsea squad. Mourinho will have the luxury of rotating as the season goes on when the club will be fighting on several fronts.
swear our team has all the quality, cech as a backup keeper? wow.

Cech is actually quality btw massive respect for that guy

Hope Courtois is nothing serious,Quality keeper! but 2 be able 2 bring on Cech for him, and still have Schwarzer sitting on the bench, crazy

Scoring goals was Chelsea’s problem last season but the introduction of Fabregas and Costa seems to have largely alleviated this. Again the pair combined for Chelsea’s second, but just as importantly, Mourinho showed that his side haven’t forgotten how to keep a clean sheet either.
Fabregas and Costa make it look so easy. That's when you know the players are quality. #EPL
